• COB Fine-Pitch Display FAQs

Q1: What are the core differences between COB fine-pitch displays and traditional SMD displays?

A: COB adopts Chip-on-Board packaging technology, with luminous chips fully encapsulated by colloid. It delivers outstanding advantages including impact resistance, moisture and dust resistance. When viewed at close range, it produces fewer moiré patterns, better low-gray performance and lower surface reflection. It is ideal for government and enterprise exhibition halls, command centers and other scenarios with long-term close observation. SMD products offer better cost performance and are widely adopted for long-distance display and lighting projects.

Q2: What mainstream pixel pitches are available for Stonbel COB fine-pitch displays? Are custom sizes supported?

A: Our COB lineup covers P0.7, P0.9, P1.2, P1.5, P1.8 and P2.0. Non-standard customized dimensions are fully supported. Complete screens with 16:9, 4:3 or other special aspect ratios can be manufactured according to wall measurements.

Q3: Can COB displays be made into curved screens?

A: Gentle curved splicing is supported, but curvature limitations apply and wide-angle bending is not achievable. If curved screens are required, please provide project drawings for our technical team to evaluate feasibility.

Q4: Is daily maintenance of COB screens difficult? Is dead pixel maintenance convenient?

A: The integrated COB packaging is anti-collision, lowering risks of damage during on-site construction and routine cleaning. Modules can adopt front-maintenance cabinets, which are recommended for command centers and narrow spaces without reserved rear maintenance passage.

Q5: How much higher is the investment for COB fine-pitch displays compared with standard SMD displays?

A: COB carries higher costs than SMD at the same pixel pitch. COB is recommended for premium close-view display projects. For long-distance projects with budget constraints, SMD solutions can be considered. We can provide two sets of configurations for your comparison.

Q6: Are COB displays compatible with conventional LED control systems?

A: They are fully compatible with universal synchronous and asynchronous control systems. Matching receiving cards, power supplies and video processors follow common industrial standards, and system debugging procedures are consistent with regular LED displays.

  • Conventional SMD LED Display FAQs

Q1: Can indoor LED displays and outdoor LED displays be used interchangeably?

A: They cannot be directly used interchangeably. Indoor modules have no waterproof structure, while outdoor LED cabinets reach IP65 protection rating with integrated lightning protection and drainage design. If the screen will be installed in a semi-outdoor environment, please inform us of the operating conditions in advance so we can recommend suitable models.

Q2: How to choose the pixel pitch for LED displays? Is there a reference standard for viewing distance?

A: As a practical reference rule: Minimum viewing distance ≈ Pixel pitch (mm) × 1 meter. For example, a P2 screen is suitable for viewing from 2 meters away. Fine-pitch products are preferred for exhibition halls with short viewing distances. You can provide site dimensions and viewing distance, and we will assist you with accurate model selection.

Q3: Can large LED screens be spliced into curved, special-shaped or right-angle structures?

A: Standard SMD modules support inner curve, outer curve, right-angle and irregular splicing. For special-shaped projects, please provide site drawings for us to evaluate structural feasibility and production lead time.

Q4: What types of control systems are available for LED displays, and how should I choose?

A: There are synchronous control systems and asynchronous control systems. Synchronous systems are suitable for command centers and exhibition halls requiring real-time video playback. Asynchronous systems apply to advertising scrolling and remote content release, supporting wireless content push via mobile phones and computers.

Q5: Will construction drawings be provided after placing an order?

A: After order confirmation, we will supply CAD structural drawings, wiring reference drawings and load-bearing specification documents. Reference steel structure solutions are also available to facilitate pre-construction arrangement for decoration and integration contractors.

Q6: Do LED screens consume large amounts of power? What is their service lifespan?

A: LED chips feature a theoretical service life of 100,000 hours. For daily operation, we recommend setting brightness between 30%–60% to balance display effect and energy conservation. Peak and average power consumption parameters can be provided during solution design to support on-site power distribution planning.

  • Storage & AI Computing Service FAQs

Q1: Does your company manufacture storage and server hardware?

A: We do not produce storage and computing hardware and have no dedicated production lines. We only provide product selection and intermediary matching services for projects. All hardware is sourced from partner original manufacturers.

Q2: Do you keep large quantities of goods in stock?

A: We do not maintain bulk inventory. All goods are allocated from original manufacturers based on project orders, and the delivery lead time depends on the production schedule of manufacturers.

Q3: Do you accept retail orders for individual customers?

A: We only serve B-side clients including system integrators, equipment manufacturers, government and enterprise engineering projects. Retail business for individual buyers is unavailable.

Q4: How is after-sales service handled?

A: Hardware warranty and after-sales support are directly provided by original hardware manufacturers, and we act as an intermediary for coordination within projects.

Q5: As an original manufacturer providing storage and computing supporting services, are storage hardware also produced in your own factory?

A: LED displays, textured screens and optoelectronic PTZ devices are manufactured at our own factories. For industrial storage and AI computing hardware, we offer intermediary project matching services instead of in-house production. All relevant hardware is supplied by partner original manufacturers.
