Project Background

As a top domestic institution of higher education, the core conference rooms of Shanghai Jiao Tong University undertake high-frequency core functions such as academic seminars, inter-university remote collaboration, important meetings of university leaders and achievement displays. The original equipment can no longer meet the needs of high-end teaching, scientific research and conferences in terms of high-definition presentation, remote interaction and multi-source collaboration. It is urgent to build a modern conference space integrating high-definition display, intelligent interaction and stable remote communication through systematic upgrading to support academic exchanges and efficient decision-making.

Core Project Configuration

In response to the high-end conference scenarios of universities, Stonbel adopts an integrated configuration scheme of "main display + auxiliary display + intelligent interaction" to accurately meet the needs:
  • Core Main Display System: Deploy a 10-square-meter P1.25 COB small-pitch LED display screen. With micron-level pixel pitch, it achieves ultra-high-definition, delicate and particle-free display effect, perfectly presenting academic data, scientific research achievements, high-definition documents and remote conference images, adapting to the needs of long-distance viewing and detail presentation;

  • Auxiliary Display System: Equipped with 4 55-inch high-definition display screens for split-screen display of multiple sets of parallel data, participant lists, meeting agendas and other contents, realizing hierarchical information presentation and multi-dimensional synchronous interaction, and improving the efficiency of meeting information transmission;

  • Intelligent Conference System: Configure a professional conference host, supporting seamless switching of multiple signals, high-definition docking of remote conferences and seat partition management, adapting to multi-person and multi-scenario conference scheduling; Equipped with a professional sound reinforcement system, it realizes high-definition and lossless audio transmission and balanced sound reinforcement, ensuring clear, coherent and interference-free sound for remote and on-site conferences, and fully meeting the audio-visual collaboration needs of various high-end conference scenarios.

Project Implementation

Stonbel set up a special technical team for university scenarios. Combining the spatial structure of the conference rooms of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, the frequency of conference use and the characteristics of personnel activities, it scientifically planned the installation position and display layout of the screens to ensure the coordination of the main and auxiliary display screens and no dead angles in viewing angles; For the indoor installation environment, the equipment heat dissipation and wiring schemes were optimized to avoid space occupation and messy lines, while taking into account the original decoration style of the conference rooms to realize the integration of upgrading and renovation with the environment; The on-site construction adopted refined operation throughout the whole process, strictly controlling the installation accuracy and reducing the impact on the normal teaching and scientific research order of the campus; After the completion of hardware deployment, joint debugging was carried out on the conference host, sound reinforcement system and display equipment to optimize the audio-visual synchronization, remote docking stability and operation convenience, ensuring the smooth operation of the system throughout the whole process.

Project Achievements

The conference room upgrade and renovation project was successfully implemented and put into use, completely solving the core pain points of the original equipment such as blurred image quality, stuck remote interaction and single information display.
