All-Weather Monitoring Project for Key Border and Coastal Defense Areas
Initial Customer Challenges
The border and coastal defense area has a long coastline and complex terrain, with some areas being uninhabited and harsh environments. It faces tests such as high temperature, high humidity, strong winds and salt spray all year round. It is necessary to realize all-weather monitoring of the coastline and offshore areas, timely detect illegal entry, illegal fishing, abnormal maritime targets and other situations, and ensure border security. Traditional monitoring equipment is easily affected by the environment, with poor stability and insufficient detection distance.
Solution
Stonbel deployed 36 military-grade thermal imaging PTZ cameras for it, adopting salt spray proof, corrosion proof and strong wind resistance design. Equipped with long-distance high-definition thermal imaging detectors and AI intelligent target recognition algorithms, it can realize accurate identification and tracking of maritime and shore targets. It is matched with 5G transmission modules to realize real-time transmission of monitoring images to the command center.
Implementation Process
The technical team overcame the difficulties of inconvenient transportation and harsh environment in the border and coastal defense areas to complete equipment transportation, installation and fixation. In view of the environmental characteristics such as salt spray and strong wind, special protective treatment was carried out on the equipment to improve the service life of the equipment. During the commissioning process, the target recognition algorithm was optimized, focusing on strengthening the recognition accuracy of targets such as ships and personnel, realizing automatic tracking and linked alarm of abnormal targets, and completing the docking with the command center platform to ensure data interconnection and intercommunication.
Project Achievements
The system can operate normally in harsh weather such as night, rain, snow and heavy fog, with a detection distance of 3-5 kilometers, realizing all-area and full-coverage monitoring of the border and coastal defense areas. It has successfully identified and handled multiple abnormal situations such as illegal entry and illegal fishing, effectively improving the efficiency of border control. The equipment operates stably in high salt spray and strong wind environments, with a failure rate of less than 0.5%, winning high recognition from the border and coastal defense management department and becoming a benchmark project for intelligent monitoring of border and coastal defense.
